what about the AFE crosspipe found here?

i am not trying to get out of replacing the driveshaft. i just had hoped to run the stock one until it breaks. obviously buying the AFE crosspipe makes no sense because the cost of one is half way to a new driveshaft unless the crosspipe or Y pipe helps in other matters. i am throwing spacers out as an option. my local shop uses Tom Woods driveshafts. so, driveshaft or AFE pipe?

Thanks, I'm not too good yet with a plasma cutter but I can make it look good with a grinder.

Can you give your honest opinion of the rear track bar bracket/track bar setup ?
Did MC ever make a 2.5"version (i think it was talked about)
Ty
I just installed it today. I have only driven about 20 miles so far. I like it and I haven't notice any weird handling issues yet.

I have no complaints yet and I liked the price and quality of the bracket. It was very easy to install. I originally ordered it based on an old image on their web page. If I knew it was going to be that tall; I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I really like the design of the JKS mount and would have ordered the JKS one if I had know the MC bracket was so tall.

I bought mine direct as well - couldn't get a better deal here locally, and I didn't have to pay tax (which is more than shipping). I ordered mine last week btw...

Tall is good but with the front raised as well.
I think some were having issues, and since MC doesn't offer Steering correction.. The were going to design a shorter bracket for the 2.5" kits.

What isn't apparent to me is why a new drive shaft solves the problem ... Are they longer or different angle than stock?

The diameter is much smaller and therefore you can droop the front axle much further before contacting the exhaust crossover. Also, if you do contact, there is no rubber boot to tear and along grease.
