It's a countersunk bolt for increased clearance.

My guess is that the bolt is used to provide clearance for the 4 door crossmember. Unfortunately it appears the 2 door crossmember may be in a different location.

Default Front Suspension

Well this forum is annoying me. It just deleted a large post I created and it says half my Photobucket pictures are too large.

Max compression on driver's side

if you look up where invest posted the pics of the different trackbar mounts do youhave the shorter new one? If not get out your torch and notch it. And if anyones driveshafts hitting the front ski why not notch that also? I had to on mine when running an aftermarket driveshaft

Interesting. Do you have the 3.5" lift? I have the new 2.5" bracket and it gives about another 1" of clearance. I'm flex testing this afternoon and will confirm if I have an issue. Don't think so though. Does look like it would be pretty easy to notch for clearance though.

So you have to torque the nut end ? Looks like a PIA.

You can torque the bolt end. Takes a 14mm hex socket. It is surprisingly strong. I figured it would round out, but not at all.

I suspect that with only 3/4" bumpstop that the bracket could possibly hit the floor of the body with the crossmember out of the way. I would prefer to get the shorter bracket and trim the crossmember if that would be necessary.

I have the taller bracket. The driveshaft didn't contact the gas tank skid with the stock track bar, I hope I don't run into issues with the new track bar and bracket.

I have the 2.5" springs and stock control arms. I'm very interested in getting the shorter bracket and trimming as necessary. I definitely want to hear how testing goes this weekend.
