Just measures my springs for my 3.5" lift. 21 1/4" instead of 21 7/8".

Any cause for concern?

Mine were similar (sorry for the quality taken with a Potatoe)


I dont always drive where others cant. but when I do, its in my Jeep. Stay muddy my friends

Yeah - pretty much identical to mine. Wonder why they're making them shorter than there advertised length?

Are they 3.5" for 2-door? If so, they're the 2.5" 4-door coil. Longest would be the 3.5" 4-door coil.

I have a 4-door - so does jade monkey and both our springs measure out the same.

Every spring in the mc book I got with my lift shows a length of 21 7/8 except the 2.5" 2-door (20 1/4"). Even the 3.5" 2-door and 2.5" 4-door are all 21 7/8"

I was questioning the lengths I was sent at first which is why I took pictures. I expected them to be longer. Also it didnt seem that my trackbar bracket was as tall as some people were getting.
Now that its all installed. THE ON ROAD RIDE! 100% better than my overloaded POS zone lift.
Took it out for a rip last night. http://youtu.be/F-glHAzXi_M Washboard, potholes and crappy gravel roads were nothing. Body roll is significantly less than before.

Offroad is actually quite a bit harsher ride disconnected than the old mushy, too soft springs.

Good and bad. I went from 3 to 2 inch bumpstops. But I felt every sway and bump twice as much. Im hoping they soften up just a tad. Its going in for a proper 4 wheel alignment tomorrow am. I did a decent job, but ill let the shop fine tune it for me.

I dont always drive where others cant. but when I do, its in my Jeep. Stay muddy my friends

always install arms and trackbars one at a time with all 4 tires on the ground. You can get a helper to rock the jeep to make the holes align.

I thought the MC instructions say to have the Jeep fully drooped while doing the trackbars and CAs. Does it work better with all 4 tires on the ground? I'm going to be doing mine in a couple weeks and I appreciate any tips that people can offer.
