I can't reply on the shocks since I went with the TF ones, but take careful measurements of your axle locations (left/right) before you lift it. Mine shifted about one inch over, I had to put adjustable track bars on front and back.

The stock shocks where fine with the lift, but I did end up swapping them for stock rubicon shocks, and the rubi shocks are much better, so if you can get your hands on them, i'd go for that.

as for the axles, the front seemed pretty straigt after the lift, and i'm running an additional 3/4" spacers with the 2.5 TF on the front. the rear is at least an inch towards the pass. side. I ordered a 2-3" relocation bracket for the rear track bar from bds-suspension, it ran about 65 bucks. it mounts to the frame and not the axle.

I got the extended links from TF for $15. That covers shipping and handling. The price of the kits went up a bit when they added them to the kit, so I think it is a wash after it is all said and done...

I'm running the stock shocks and extenders. I can't really complain.
I rock crawl, sandy hill climb and run over rutted (is that a word?) dirt roads at speeds up to 40 mph. No issues to date.
If you're keeping it low budget, go with the extenders.

I keep forgeting to order the extended links for the rear. Thanks to this thread for the reminder.

Oh man... You are going to LOVE it!

I put the Rubicon Express on mine a while back, why oh why did i wait so long???

I installed new shocks with mine right off, so cant comment on the lift with stock shocks either.

But i agree watch your axles, mine shifted alot. I bought adj. track bars and installed them at the same time, i am very glad i did. Offcentered axles woulda drove me buggy until i got the adj. trackbars installed.

You'll love them dude, total different ride. That is why I haven't bought longer shocks yet, b/c I'm afraid i'll lose the ride quality of the rubi shocks.

Hey, I ordered the BDS track bar bracket on Tuesday, and it will be here tomorrow!

You know what part number the links are? B/c I just an email back from TF and they said they do not have rear sway bar links for the 2.5 lift. But they may have an older catalog they are looking at?? they did say they have longer links for 3-4" lift, part #000754300

EDIT: also could you measure them, the dude in the email said the ones for 3-4 inch lifts are 12.25 inches long from eye to eye.

Buck, 001754410 is the rear sway bar link kit you need if your TeraFlex Budget Boost came with none. To make it easy we have offered the kit for $15.00 shipped in the lower 48. These are the same links used in a 3" lift which has a ride height between 1 and 2.25" higher than a Budget Boost depending on added equipment. We have tested them and they work great.
Its better to just order these direct from us at TeraFlex.

Thanks so much! TeraFlex has been extremely helpful in this! I called and left a message, got a call back a little later (although I didn't answer it b/c it was unknown number). I emailed you guys, and got a response back quickly. Thanks for the help and I'll order them right away!
