Plug and Play Remote Starter $100 on ebay
OK tried doing what step 7 in the manual lists, without the grounding of that one wire since that was not listed, and didnt make a difference. Alarm still randomly sounds when remote starting. Wondering if I should just get the Flashlink and be done lol!
I found that a quick lock-lock-lock-unlock seems to work for now to prevent the annoying alarm until someone tries that grounding wire trick. I have to wait for my wife to come home and tell me the colors because I'm colorblind!

Got confirmation from Fortin also on the procedure, so should be safe.
"Most Chrsyler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles will only disarm on remote start when the EVO or aftermarket remote starter is set to unlock before start and relock after. If you are using the EVO as a stand alone unit (no other remote starter installed) you need to turn on Option 12 (unlock before/lock after start).
Turning on option 12 can be done during the programming of the EVO to the vehicle or by using the Flash-Link Manager. If you look at the programming procedure, step 7 is there exactly for this. I recommend to reprogram the EVO and when you reach step 7, ground the Purple/white wire of the EVO for about 1 second then continue on with the rest of the procedure."

Reprogram only as in when you first hook it up. I just tried it in the parking lot at work and it works. Doors unlock and interior lights come on, Jeep starts, doors lock and lights go back off.
