I'm reviving this thread. So I had fixed the leak awhile back which can be read through. I've driven it daily since doing about 2500 miles and have had zero issues constantly checking it. This weekend I went from Rhode Island into the mountains in New Hampshire and bam got a leak out the tubes. If you read back. I had no issues when first installed until I drove cross country. Why do I have issues when I change elevation. I have had to literally cool down before I wrote this. So I wouldn't use all kinds of choice language. Dynatrac you didn't chime in when the weld in the C end was addressed. And I've been given the run around. What is going on here? I just bought mopar seals today and will replace them soon. The cost of seals is adding up. That'll be the fourth set of seals. In under 6k miles. This isn't hardcore wheeling either.
They are kind of in between and have been nothing but helpful. Last time I talked to them they said if the housing needed to be warrantied they would get the ball rolling. But I want to know if this is something that needs to be warrantied. Between the constant leaking and the weld. Honestly I'm so pissed off with this axle that I don't even want it and would rather go with a different 44.

This is a tough one for us to address. If we remember correctly, you did not purchase the axle directly from us. And it is equipped with axle shafts and other components from companies that we don't use or sell. It is hard to tell what could have happened to our housing after it left our facility and went through one or two dealers before going into your Jeep. You mentioned poor welding, which is not typical on Dynatrac axles. Is it possible someone worked on the axle prior to it being installed in your Jeep? We dont want to cast doubt on others involved in this build, but it is odd that we be held accountable when others have worked on the axle and your Jeep. The bottom line is that the shop you bought the axle from is the one who should be helping you resolve issues. And if they bought the axle from us, the shop should be working with us directly. That is part of why you use a local shop or retailer, right?
If we had assembled this axle, sold it to you and shipped it to you complete, we would stand behind it 100 percent. We hope you'll give us the chance in the future to experience the quality of a complete Dynatrac axle assembly and buying direct.

Sorry about your situation, but I think you're focusing on the wrong party to get it resolved.
I'm not trying to point blame at anyone particular company. I'm just trying to figure out what's wrong with this and get some answers. The weld is no question a dynatrac issue, unless you sell an unlimited housing that's stamped without c ends. The weld Im questioning is the c end weld. I pulled it apart again today. I have a stack of three sets of seals all different makes. I was told by 2 different people at the dynatrac booth at ejs that I tore the seals. Apparently not. And why at higher elevation does it leak? But not at sea level where I live?
