Superchips Error - Car is dead -HELP
Good luck, man - this sucks.
I registered the tuner when I got it therefore it should qualify for the limited warranty and if I am reading it correctly it says that if the tuner directly causes any failure on the vehicle it is covered up to $5000 as long as the repair is made at a authorized superchips dealer.
Does anyone know anything about this?

I am very skeptical that it will work. Like I said my buddy worked for Diablosport before opening his own shop and he said its fried.

Since no one has a clue, I am going to keep this updated for people with future issues.
The car will start right after trying to upload the recovery tune but has a CEL, and will not start after 10 minutes or so.
The code E-00 means the database failed to complete update (which makes sense since it failed to update on the computer). Superchips looked at the log and saw it just keep looping through the same firmware update. They said that if a firewall or anti-virus is on, it can prevent it from updating and these need to be turned off. I am going to try to update again tonight.

I just talked to Superchips. They said they will pay up to $300 to have the vehicle towed to the dealer and reflashed. I am a little unsure how to play this when they start asking questions. Should I un-install the aftermarket radio? I never got the car flashed so technically I didnt void the warranty, and I am not asking them to fix it under warranty. hmm....
I paid for the extended drivetrain warranty to 70k miles too, if they were to void it and not refund the money for that I would be really pissed.

The aftermarket radio wasn't a problem when I had my dealer flash the computer. There were just a couple simple updates in the system that the new software was fixing, but it was a flash nonetheless.
How you plat it out is dependent upon the dealer's attitude, but I would simply say that the jeep isn't acting correctly and you'd like to go on ahead and get the PCM and such flashed back to stock.
