Look at the bright side, at least I didn't post any pics if you with your broken shaft in your hands.
I'm selling my barely used Superchips #3875. I installed it once on my 2010 Rubi, and it ran great with the 87 tune. I have the original box, paperwork, and I returned my Rubi back to stock. The tuner is ready for the next JK!

What's the best tune for fuel economy? After installing my 3" lift and 35s, I was getting 16 city 22 highway (70mph with cruise on) under stock settings. I recently tried the 87 tune for two full tank cycles and my mpg dropped to 13.5mpg both city/highway. I calculated using distance/gallons=mpg and not just the JK computer(which was pretty darn close to my calculations).
I'm trying the Mileage XS tune right now. I may try the 91 tune because a lot of drivers seem to have reported nice reviews, but I'm having a hard time understanding why I should put premium fuel in a vehicle that doesn't exactly have what's considered a "high performance" engine. For example, my wife's 350Z requires only premium... never 81 or 83 octane. Maybe someone can help better explain to me the cost benefits of premium fuel in a JK that travels like a brick in the wind.
Thanks!

I was running the 87 performance setting and getting better MPG than using th MileageX but now I running the 93 tune and I'm getting better MPG than using the 87 Tune.

The SuperChip changes the Timing for each setting - That is why you need the specific Octane fuel for each individual setting.

The 91 and 93 tunes say to use those grade fuels. Does the extra cost per gallon of fuel get returned by the increased MPG of the tune?

Im going on trip this weekend 125 miles each way plus the wheeling. I will report back with the results
Im getting better mpg in the city than running the xmileage or the 87-
Running 93 fuel - I really like the feel of the Jeep now. It goes

I'm also wondering if I mistakenly used the 87 Octane tune instead of the 87 Performance tune. Apparently, the 87 Octane tune is to allow vehicles requiring 91 or above to safely use 87. At first I thought what's the point because this Superchips is for a JK, but I didn't factor in engine swaps. After this fuel cycle, I'll try 91 Performance, then 87 Performance, then stock... and hopefully find the best solution for me. Cheers!
just got my new superchips for my jk. when i tried to install it in the middle of the process and while i didnt have a chance to choose nothing except the quick tune mode, i saw general error code G3F. Does anyone know what this is? I am pretty sure i followed the instructions cause i tried 5 times in a row and one later. i have already e-mailed superchips.
