Aaaaa.... guys I don't know about turning the TPMS off completely but it certainly works to lower psi down to 20 on all five tires. Did I miss something?

There was an announcement a few days ago from one of the Superchip fellows stating that they were working on an "Off Road" setting that would lower TPMS settings to single digits or completely turn it off.

Here is the post announcing it.

Ok sorry for posting, I did see the announcement that 0 psi would be a new feature with a disclaimer (and really what sense is it to just disable the TPMS for the fronts alone???!!!).

Maybe I REALLY don't get it though, I needed to change the stock 37 psi when I changed my tires for everyday driving but are you guys running <20psi for long periods of time?? Just seems to me that the little light on the dash wouldn't be that big of a distraction for a few hours of wheeling. DON"T HURT ME!!

I will be running two sets of tires, one for the summer and one for the winter, and don't want to spend the $300+ dollars for a new set of sensors (installation figured in). Turning it off would be much more convenient.

Hah! I had actually thought about it but since the announcement from Superchips I will just wait it out.

The tires with the sensors are sitting in the garage next to the Jeep so the light doesn't seem to come on anyway. Good thing they are so reliable. . .

Same here my stock 17s still have the sensors attached and is stored in the garage...How far do you drive? My light usually comes on after ~15miles of driving. Then when I park the Jeep next to the factory rims it shuts off, but comes on again after driving 15miles

15 miles sounds like it would be about right before it comes on. I usually only leave the office at lunch unless I have some inspections to do.
