Just got my SC yesterday and I have installed the 87 octane performance and it has made a big difference . I mean , it's not a Vette or anything like that now , but it sure is a lot better than it was at stock
Everyday I continue to grin about the 87 load.
With my 35's and Auto it has made a huge difference! Just ask the drivers around me. I'm always way faster in acceleration than 95% of the drivers. yes, My <PG suffers some, but I still get in the 15's in mixed city/freeway.
Not bad, since I drive it like I stole it.

wow, i read the whole thread.
Ordered it up after reading all the positive replys
It was brought up a couple times but not really answered : Procal superchip combo
I just picked up 08 rubi unlimited Auto that has been programed with the proCal module for the 37" BFG KM2's and the 5:13 gears along with the TPIS disable. Do you think i need to restore to the stock settings from the Procal before running the super chips tune?
thanks

Given how picky the Superchips is about what software it finds in your Jeep, I'd say that you are correct. You'll need to remove the procal calibration, use the superchips, and then use the procal again.
I've been running the 87 tune for a while, and I remain pretty impressed with it. Fuel economy is consistent at about 2mpg better than stock for what thats worth, and the power boost is very noticeable. When I punch it from a dead stop, the Jeep is pretty quick.
The only negative I have to note is that I was getting pinging running the 87 tune on 87 gas. I had to step up to 89 octane gas to eliminate the pinging, but in return it actually seems to run a little better too.... so its not all bad.

Mudflap I sent you a pm about your flashpaq, asking if your JK is stock and whether it's a stick or an auto. If people are getting mpg gains with setups similar to mine (stock, auto), then I'll definitely buy one!!
I replied to you, yeah its a stock/auto Rubicon. I have to run 89 octane on the 87 tune to keep it from pinging, so some of the mileage "savings" is eaten up there, but I'm still net ahead of stock. Also the extra power/drive-ability is worth it.
