I "just" got the hypertech and plan on loading it this weekend -
Hoping all the positive write ups are true.
You are giving me hope!

I have had this happen as well, not only did my wipers come on but my headlights as well. So far superchips has been unable to duplicate it at their shop but admit that others are reporting this problem as well. When I last upated the tuner, I took the jeep back to stock, started it, shut it off and then put the tune in again and it worked like it is supposed to.
Might give that a try, it worked for me....

Just got mine in yesterday (thanks Northridge!!) updated and installed it last night.

Settings I used where for the 87 Octane and adjusted tire size to 33.75, which is roughly what mine are.

Not really noticing any difference? I do a lot of highway driving (roughly 120 miles a day; for now) but even in the city I still didn't notice a change. Mileage has stayed roughly the same, and I am still having issues even trying to maintain a steady 70mph (speed limit here) on the flat highways of the coast. Maybe I was expecting too much, or maybe it didn't program properly?

Any thoughts?

I bought mine a couple of days ago and loaded the 87 tune. (My windshield wipers and lights were on during the process too). I can tell a pretty big difference in seat of the pants. It pulls a lot harder and suprisingly it feels like it's got a bit more torque too. The shifting is definitly improved (Automatic). I do my mileage on paper every time and I haven't run a full tank yet but my dash indicator used to stay around 19-20 MPG and now it's hanging around 22 MPG (I reset it when did the programming). I drive 90 miles a day on the interstate so no idea on mileage in town / traffic yet. Overall it has exceeded my expectations. I may run a couple of tanks like this next week and then switch to the milage tune and see if there's any change.

How has shifting changed? Does it shift harder?

Harder / Firmer. Mine used to feel like it slipped too much, especially between 3-4th gear. It now feels like I think it should. It's hard to say powerwise what the increase was but it pulls a lot harder when merging on the interstate and pulling into traffic. As I said, I was surprised that it feels like it has more power without winding the engine up.

Before Superchips first became available for the JK, I was running the Hypertech. I did feel a slight improvement over stock. But after installing the Superchips it was like night & day...I can really feel the difference + the SC has more features than what the Hypertech offers

Nice. That alone is worth it, IMO.
