There is no real manual with this thing. Only a sales promotional brochure!

Any input would be most welcome!
Same here, lots of pinging on the 87 Tune with 87 gas. Even tried disconnecting the battery for an hour to force the ECU back into learning mode and it started pining again under even moderate acceleration with 87 gas. I've been running 89 gas on the 87 tune now and been very happy with the performance and MPG. Wish we had 93 gas around here readily available.

With as much as SC pushes things to get you the best performance, this is not at all advisable. If it were closer in octane, and it was running fine, say the 91 tune with 89 Octane I wouldn't be as concerned. However running the 93 tune on 87 is just asking for trouble.
...Um, so I ran the 93 by accident on 87 fuel at 75 mph for 3 hours...hopefully I didn't do any damage...I know enough to be dangerous about this.

I switched to the 87 tune last night with 87 fuel and it runs great! I no longer have to put the pedal to the floor to get the JK to start moving.

Anyone running the 93 tune with available 93 octane with no issues? I live at 4500' elevation, i think i can get away with 91 pump gas on the 93 tune, we will see tomarrow.

I'm in Northern Indiana, pretty flat and our elevation is around 700ft above sea level. I have been running the 93 tune with 93 octane and no pinging. Runs great!

Just ran it. Very noticable when you let the clutch out, no more 'about to stall' issues. The ecceleration is noticably better. I only drove it for 1/4 mile is all. I will put some 91 in it tomarrow and run it more. I know the intake and exhaust will enhance the Superchip even more. All i did was the 93 tune and tire size. I run 35's and i set the program to 33.5 as some have done. I will GPS it and see. The only real way to tell the difference in power is to drive it in the 93 for a week, then set it back to stock.

It's funny you say that. When I got my superchips I was impressed. But a couple months later I set it back to stock to take it into the dealer. Wow what a noticeable difference. It felt like I was running on 5 cylinders.

I suggest everyone go back to stock after driving on a superchips tune for a few weeks just to see how big the difference is.

The high elevation really likes the timing.

That's not true. TPMS delete still does not work (for 2010 at least). I've been waiting.

Default Cai ?

just installed a AEM CAI and have a noticeable performance loss. I had the superchip tuned to an 87 tune before the CAI install and had good performance. After the CAI install it started pinging and was a total dog. MPG went to crap too, 1/4 tank in about 70 miles.

last night i went back to the stock tune and it seemed like it actually ran better. Any ideas?
