The jury is still out on this for me. My Procal worked great for tire sizes, but you can do more with the Superchips. I am running a 87 Octane tune and as soon as I can get higher octane fuel in the tank, I will try the 91 and the towing tune. The butt dyno seems like I might have a bit more power, but I think the big winner is the shift points with the automatics.

I like have the screen to program things instead of the dip switches on the Procal though.

Thanks for all the help guys.
But I have decided to sell my Falshpaq, I am just not comfortable risking further damage to my engine. I ran it for a year, but recent pinging problems on my Jeep has annoyed and worried me. I tried all I could, but am now bowing out.
I returned it to stock today and not a ping/knock at all (all durring a record high heat day) I have less power than the 87 tune, but it is not that bad.

I hope all you fellas have good luck and keep those Jeeps running great with the FP.

Had mine over six months now...

Just drives better, more response, feels like more power and fuel cons a bit better.

The crawl mode is fabulous, its regular tune is 93+ and I use 95 Oct fuel...

Wouldn't live without it now...

exactly. i don't have stats on performance, gas miles, etc., but it's just better (2 door 6 speed, 35's). i've blown way more than $300 on stupid things, so i'm not one to try to justify my purchase. i notice a difference everytime i go back to stock. and as stated, i was very impressed with the crawl mode. had it over a year and can't imagine going without it.

I'm not into the power thing. I'm more interested in getting the most economy out ot the JK. I've tried the different tunes and they all yield about 15 mpg driving 60 on the highway and easy on the skinny peddle. About 75% highway and 25% city. Even the economy mode is at 15. The lift, tires and 513 gears have cost me 3 mpg. It's no big deal, but the Superchip has done nothing for me except for tire size and gear change. My dealer would have done those for me. I may try the crawl mode when we get back to AZ.

Installed the "tow tune" last night as well as changed tire size to 33in. Noticed a difference on highway on way to work. I found that I can now cruise comfortably at 70/75mph. Even found myself at 80mph without any effort. Cruising RPMS are down at 1500 but speed at 75mph. Not bad. Did the switch from perfomance 91 as I now had much heavier tires on the jeep and wanted to compensate for that.

I can't really tell any performance gains yet. I run 37's with 5:13's on an auto granny. I'll try the tow mode when I get home today.

I put the tow tune on this week. I like it. No knocking and good shift points. I'm only getting around 15 MPG with 35's still though. Might be some SC employees posting those 18-21 mpg statements. Heck mine barely got 18 stock.

Woooo-hoo.... I wouldn't have believed it myself! I averaged 14-15 MPG no matter what type of driving I did. I've been hitting the mid 17's since I went to the Tow Tune!!

It ain't 18-21 but I'm now a believer!!
