Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
I asked the same question to Superchips a while back, and got this in response.
"The way our product works is that we save a complete copy of your stock files from your vehicle into the tuner and replace them with the selected SC files you choose at the time of use.
Once returned to stock the vehicle will be as it was minus some short term memory on driving time that can be replaced by driving the vehicle stock for 10-15 miles before going in for service."

I will be happy to forward your requests to management to see what we can do.

It's not too bad. Our new Cummins racing programmer has taken up most of our time lately.
We are close to a release date on that product so I would assume that after that engineering can spend more time revisiting some of those features for you guy's.

Just ordered my wife a Flashpac yesterday from Northridge and it's already arrived!! Can't wait to install it. It's nice to have a Superchips rep on this board. I probably wouldn't have purchased if Scott wasn't such an active poster...
Well thank you for the positive comments as well as your purchaase. I sincerely hope she enjoy's what the product has to offer her Jeep!

(I am kidding a bit) but I think some users have way higher expectations then they should. It is great for what it says, and I am very happy with mine. Tuners don't fix everything, but instead compliment what is already there, and what you might add (i.e. gears, larger tires, etc)
there are a lot of threads and the search sucks, I just wanted to know if anyone had any theories, didn't mean to call out the "there's already been a thread on this" hawks. I guess that makes sense, just seems odd that you see more flashpaqs for sale on here than any other 3rd party part.
