Well, I've run my first tank through on the 87 tune. The pinging seems to be all but gone and the drivability is a lot better than stock. I hand calculated slightly over 17 mpg (about 17.1). I don't feel too bad about that at all considering I flogged it pretty good for the first 50 miles or so and wasn't shy using the pedal to get up to speed. All of this in a 2dr Rubi on 35's and 3" of lift.

I'm going to try to contain myself during this tank and drive like I normally would to see what kind of mpg this one nets.

FWIW- my driving was all stop and go in town and winding highway with rolling hills. No interstate cruising on this tank.

Default Flashpaq for 2011's?

Anyone hear when this will be available for the 2011's? I emailed Superchips, but all they said was it is not available at this time.

Yep, it's going to be a wait as what Superchips addresses in developing their tunes is more robust than the majority of their competitors. If you really have the itch, to gain some performance from your JK, I would suggest replacing the can and the OEM air filter with a performance filter. Neither are going to ad alot of power or efficiency, but the Flashpaq will take advantage of both without issue. That will give you a couple projects in the interim to gain some modest performance increases.

So, I just came across this at the Superchips site -
https://www.superchips.com/forum/vie...hp?f=18&t=9460

does that mean that it won't work now with ANY 2008 JKs? Only if the Dealer has reflashed it??
there must be some of you with 2008s, the the Flashpaq?

No, it means they will be adding another calibration to the file so that everyone will be covered.

How does one go about getting their hands on the Advanced Trans options for the auto? I bought a new Flashpaq a couple weeks ago and uploaded the 87 tune as well as set my tire height. I just now connected the Flashpaq to my pc to check for updates and to get the Advanced Trans options since it's not VIN locked to my Jeep, but I don't see it available for download. Any ideas?

I haven't connected it back to the Jeep yet, but is it possible that the Advance Trans options are pre loaded on the newer Flashpaqs? I saw where someone had mentioned it earlier, but have no confirmation on this.

Advanced trans tuning is an offroad feature so it won't come preloaded in any programmer we produce because all of the programmers currently applicable to this feature start life as emissions legal tuners.

In order for you to download the trans tuning feature you must first vinlock the programmer to the vehicle, then log in to internet update.

You will see a drop down menu at the top of the page. Selecting vehicle one will produce the advanced trans Tuning option.

The feature costs $40 and has a disclaimer attached that you must agree to before you can download it.

Any questions let me know.

Scott

I have an '08 and a Superchips. it works fine. Recently, when I had the dealership reflash the ECU for the "hot oil temp" warning light; when I tried to tune the Jeep with the SC I got an error message "calibration not found". I just updated the SC (a simple fix) and was able to reprogram/tune my JK again
