Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
I am sorry to see people having such frustration with the superchips.
I just bought one used on here, and should be getting it next week, I hope I don't have the same problems. Seller said it's unlocked and he brought his jeep back to stock. Unfortunately he didn't have the cd that came with the superchips, but apparently there is a link online that I can use.
I hope I will like it. Next mod I think will be a new exhaust.

As far as exhaust...I'd recommend a Dynomax Ultra Flo. Sounds awesome and just have it welded in mid-pipe to save some bucks if your existing system is still good to go.
tried your method too and was unsuccessful. totally bummed. wanted to take it out for a bit this weekend and see the results. patience is a virtue they say...i'll just have to get ahold of superchips on monday morn.
Did you do the update process again on your computer? Took two tries to get it to take. I also clicked to downloa the offroad TPMS option and it added that feature and verified the software again on the programmer then it worked.

Update:
I was skeptical when I bought the Flashpack & started with the 87 tune. I was rewarded with mostly better shiftpoints. With 295/75-16's my wife was averaging 15.7 to & from work after correcting the speedo for the tires. After an oil change & installing a K&N filter I tried the 91 tune without telling my wife. The 1st day she drove to work she wanted to know what I did to her Jeep. It no longer had to downshift on the overpasses she routinely goes over with the cruise set at 65mph.
The mileage setted in at 16.3 & I left it that way for 4 months. Even though we do not have 93 octane here in AZ I decided to try the 93 tune with the 91 fuel. I drove it around some, it still does not wheelie, but I did not hear any detonation so I left it that way for a few weeks. I turned the key on last week & it showed a 17.3 avg, I just checked today & it still shows a 17.3 average. Her commute is essentially the same every week. I'm no longer skeptical

My Superchips doesn't have an 87 PERFORMANCE tune listed. Just 87 Tune. What gives? Do I need to update the software?
EDIT: just to clarify... It lists only the following...
93 Performance
91 Performance
Towing
Mileage XS
87 Tune
Crawl
Stock
I believe the above "87 Tune" is for vehicles that normally use 93 or 91 octane can safely use 87 Octane fuel and it doesn't necessarily alter performance in the same way the other Performance tunes do.

After mine updates/syncs it pulls up the store and has the option to download the available options ie. The off road tpms option. Have you installed that? That would verify you are up to date.
During my update the pie timer goes to the right in a complete circle then goes backward. This takes several minutes. Then when complete the screen defaults to the store with available files to download.
Fyi... Mine showed that exact error under status until I got it to update properly.
Did you try to just change your tpms pressure without the tune to verify it is communicating with your Jeep? Try that and if it works then hook it up to your computer and download that off road tpms file frim the store (it's free) to force an update to the tuner and then try again to load the tune to your Jeep.
