Did you try clicking it back only 1 click for "off" or the ACC position? So long as it's NOT in the "ON/IGNITION" position, it should work. Don't turn it all the way to off(just before you can remove the key) because the onboard CPU will shutoff before the programmer has time to do it's thing.

Same problem when I got mine. I updated it twice. After the second computer update it worked. I also made sure headlights dome etc were off and it worked.

Superchips = Super frustrated. Same error as above. Tried everything I've read on here. So far it seems Superchips and the software is rather confusing to navigate. Would like to get this thing up and running. Any help would be appreciated.

Error G-3F is simply not turning the key all the way to the on/off position through the key cycles process of tuning. I bumped into it once, it was my own fault and quickly remedied. Pretty much just a user head space error and if you run through things a little more deliberately you shouldn't have the issue.

I've tried being uber deliberate. I have disabled my traction control junk doing the "steering wheel dance" and get some extra dings on start up and an ESP OFF message flash on the display. Would this have something to do with the on/off cycle timing? I'm going to go give it one more whirl and be deliberate as hell. If this doesn't work I don't know what will.

If you get stuck, call support as early as possible in the day (they open at 8AM EST) and get ahold of Ron Rapp. He'll get you covered if something else is going on.

Just tried again. Waited for everything to quit flashing when prompted to cycle to "on" position before hitting OK. No dice. Same outcome as before. I noticed there was the engine symbol flashing when I would cycle it to "on". Waited for that to quit and stay illuminated before hitting OK when prompted. I'm stumped.

Hmmm... I never wait for anything to quit flashing... I just hit OK right after I turn to the appropriate key position.

Having disabled the traction control/esp wouldn't have anything to do with it???

I am sorry to see people having such frustration with the superchips.

I just bought one used on here, and should be getting it next week, I hope I don't have the same problems. Seller said it's unlocked and he brought his jeep back to stock. Unfortunately he didn't have the cd that came with the superchips, but apparently there is a link online that I can use.

I hope I will like it. Next mod I think will be a new exhaust.
