93 Performance
91 Performance
Towing
Mileage XS
87 Tune
Crawl
Stock

I believe the above "87 Tune" is for vehicles that normally use 93 or 91 octane can safely use 87 Octane fuel and it doesn't necessarily alter performance in the same way the other Performance tunes do.
Those are the options mine has.

Ok, so I was able to update the software AND I even installed the TPMS OffRoad function. I went into the Jeep and the new TPMS option showed up. AWESOME.

However, I still don't see an 87 "Performance" tune under the Quick Tune or anywhere else for that matter. In the manual, under "Jeep Power Levels" on page 14, it shows:
93 Performance
91 Performance
87 Performance
Towing Tune
Crawling Tune

Except "87 Performance" is absent from the list on the Flashpaq when hooked into the Jeep. WTF? am I nuts? Or is the "87 Octane" option the same damn thing? Pics attached from the manual(also a PDF on Superchips website):

The 87 is the same thing. Jeeps were not required to run premium so there is no tune to tune it down. The 87 is a performance tune better than stock just not as good as the other prem gas tunes and why it is labeled as such.

Fyi... Mine showed that exact error under status until I got it to update properly.

Did you try to just change your tpms pressure without the tune to verify it is communicating with your Jeep? Try that and if it works then hook it up to your computer and download that off road tpms file frim the store (it's free) to force an update to the tuner and then try again to load the tune to your Jeep.

Judging by the above I don't think mine has updated properly. Seems the updater also display kinda funky on my laptop whenever I open it up.

We'll get you fixed up this AM and see if the update is installing properly. Talk to you soon.

That makes sense... but what doesn't make sense is that the manual lists an 87 Performance setting, yet it's not on the Flashpaq. Only 87 Octane.

Also, it's debatable whether the 87 Tune is better than stock if you're talking about performance vs fuel economy. Having run a bunch of different tunes, I now switched back to Stock for this fuel cycle and will be crunching the numbers. Thanks for all the help guys!!

If you want to really impress yourself go to the 93. I won't run anything else unless I can't find 93.

And, I track all my number... I saw a .5 mpg jump from stock to 87, .7 mpg jump to 91 performance, an 1.6 mpg jump with 93 performance (all with reasonable driving habits)

That's with all the mods in my sig... minus the cai (took it off and haven't changed the sig)

I get about 17.5mpg
