I guess you guys are all doing highway driving. I got an auto and the best I have seen with 35" is 16.5.

thats with a bb, airraid cai, and stock tired rubi with six speed.
I am getting numbers that lifted 35in auto's are seeing.
That sounds like pretty normal MPG. No f'ing way a JK on 35s is really getting that kind of mileage. My stock 6 speed unlimited Rubicon has never hit anywhere close to 21 mpg on the hwy. But I drive 75-80, or higher sometimes.

mine came in today. did an update through the web download - took longer than i hoped, but i guess i'm as up to date as possible. hooked it up and ran through the steps. seems to have downloaded and saved my stock settings, then uploaded my performance tune - i went with the 87 to start. everything appeared to go fine, said the tune was updated and told me to unplug the tuner. however, on the first test drive i'm not showing any speedometer or odometer movement. drove for 10 - 15 minutes with the speedometer at 0 and didn't record a single mile driven. i'll reset it and go through it again in the morning.

That is the same problem I had initially. My guess is that your programmer didn't take the update and I would start there. It also looks like we have pretty much the same jeep, 2 door Sahara, manual transmission and 3.73s I would assume?

The initial issue with mine was that SC had things set up to recognize the 3.21s and couldn't match up a vehicle profile with the, at the time, optional 3.73 gears. Everything else worked fine, just no speedo. MAde a report of the issue and had a new tune the same day.

So again, I would definitely try the update again, making sure there isn't anything else going on with your computer and keeping the application operating in the foreground. No screen savers or energy saving stuff on. You can also give them a call and see what they have logged on your update and they can let you know if it successfully updated.

Also, post what software rev you have for comparison to what other people are running with recent updates.

If I still had my long highway commute I would definitely be over 21 mpg on every tankful with 35s.

almost the same jeep - i have the 3.21s

i was thinking about returning it to stock and then reinstalling the tune, but i will run the update again. it seemed really slow and like it had stopped a couple times, so maybe there was a problem with the update.

how do i determine the software rev - where do i find that? can i check it online, or does it show on the flashpaq screen?

You can check the version number when it's plugged in to your jeep, not so sure you can do it via USB.

With 3.21s perhaps they broke it when they fixed mine, but I'm kind of doubtful. Should be good to go with an update though that runs through successfully.

That is a sweet deal! Definitely like the fact that they are rewarding and keeping an existing customer, the way things like this should roll.
