I got a quick response from them asking what year my jeep is. I would have thot they could get that from the connections I made with the flashpaq. Their form asked for serial number, but no vehicle info. Anyway, they have it all now and I'm glad to see they already started looking at it. If I get anything else before I leave this afternoon, I will post.

Oh yes, from my reading of all these threads, I believe JPop said he didn't have data acquisition at first, but does now. That was back in July, I think. So it was a feature added later, but should be accessible now.

I've been monitoring my last 4 fillups and have calculated the following
13.49
14.12
13.83
13.86

I've got 35's, AT + 3.73's. My commute is about 80 miles a day 75 of which are on the highway in medium traffic. No a/c and with the top down most of the time.

In doing my calculations, I noted that there was a 7.37% difference in tire diameter over stock, so I factored that in.

I ordered my 3875 from northridge and it'll hopefully be here sometime after the 7th. I'll report my mpg's afterwards.

Keeping my fingers crossed

I do on occasion use the data acquisition section to monitor things. It's a bit cumbersome and it always ends up in my lap and I probably should get a piece of velcro to attach it to the dash so I would use it a bit more. I have done some 0-60 and 330' tests, for butt dyno calibration but haven't messed with that since I was comparing it to my former programmer. If I didn't buy an Aeroforce Interceptor a while back, I'd probably use it more. Both the Aeroforce and the Flaspaq use the OBDII port, so not as if you can use them simultaneously.

In all I think it's too big for everyday use. I do however think it's a good tool for some troubleshooting if things aren't running properly. It certainly doesn't displace a full time gauge set like the Aeroforce, but it certainly exceeds the stock gauges capabilities.

I haven't had it plugged in for any data acquisition stuff for a couple of months so I think I'll go take a ride to see what's there again.

Hey JPop, since you mentioned it (and not to hijack the SC thread, but) can you post a picture of your Aeroforce Interceptor installed? Which one did you get and where? I think many of us here trust your opinions and would love to see your Interceptor solution. At least I would.

I bought my Aeroforce from Moe's Performance when I was buying an electric fan kit for my Dodge Ram. It works with both the Ram and the JK. While I do have a pillar mount for the Ram, I have been using a ghetto rig for mounting it in the Jeep. Been meaning to run to Summit Racing to figure out something that would work. Long weekend so perhaps I should get that back burner project checked off and take a couple of pictures.

Not to encourage hi-jacking, lol, but here is a link to the mount that I used (replace the XX) hXXp://egauges.com/vdo_indA.asp?PN=CD1200-52

That mount comes with several different mounting options, I chose the smaller ball mount and mounted it in the upper left hand corner of the windshield frame.

Very compact, very easy to see and works like a champ!

Just got my Flashpaq by the way and WOW! Just running the 87 tune and what an amazing difference.

After my last update, I noticed a pretty nice increase in off idle power on the 87 tune. Its funny because I only did the update looking for more features. I wasn't looking for and didn't expect any performance increase. I noticed it right away when pulling out into traffic.

Also, I didn't drive the Jeep for several hours after the install so I'd forgotten about it... They must have tweaked something...

Was this still running 87 octane or had you to switched to 85?

Please show us how you mounted that gauge. Looks great!

Wow, is there an 85 octane option? Or do we have to wait for the diesel programming to be released (I'm really looking forward to 340ftlb and 43mpg out of my 3.8, JPOP, even if I do have to use diesel fuel). LOL

Running the latest 93 tune and thrilled with it! Mileage is still around 14.8mpg with the 6-speed, but I drive it like it was my IS350 Lexus! This is mixed driving, 1/3 city/suburban, 1/3 interstate, and 1/3 secondary roads. Consistently 7-10mph over the posted speed limits, pretty strong acceleration off the line. With more restrained use (what fun would that be) over the same routes, I can get it up to 17.5mpg.
Aerodynamics, not gearing or horsepower/torque is the big kliller, when you get over 62/63mph it really starts to hurt you. Uphill against the wind, well where are those 5.38s and that RIPP blower?

Funny, like I said in another thread, before the Flashpaq I would have never thought I'd be merging onto the interstate and looking for the fast lane, on a regular basis.
