Glad to hear there are more users going to pop up shortly so I can measure my delusions and perhaps find the appropriate help.

Default Hypertech Max Energy

As far as the Hypertech goes, I can say that using the Premium setting you will notice a slight difference in the low end compared to stock. But, I have noticed a GREAT increase in gas mileage when using the economy setting. I've got 37s on my JK and now I'm getting an average of 16.5 mpg in the city. When I was running stock, it was closer to 13.

In my opinion there were little to none and no matter how many times I went from stock to hypertech tunes I was never convinced I got anything out of it. More than 30,000 miles of experience with it and not much if anything. In 15 seconds with the Superchips Flashpaq I had a totally different experience.

I was curious because I hadn't seen an mpg increase with my 6 speed and we have very similar set ups, sans the transmission differences along 35/37s with the Hypertech. I put on a ton off miles with the Hypertech to the tune of 3 tankfuls a week and have hypothesized that the majority of those having good experiences with the Hypertech were those with automatic transmissions. Changing shift points, locking the converter and if they do anything with torque management would suggest some of the differences, but for me the thing didn't work out and because of the lean condition I was experiencing (Hypertech says as a result of running headers) put me in a place to cut bait.

Anyway, I'm glad it's working for you.

Just installed my new Flashpaq and took the JK for a spin.
I think I like it.
I have a tank full of 87 octane.
I'll try the 93 octane tune after this tank full is gone.

installed mine...no worries.

93 octane tune.
adjusted for tire heighth 35.75

dont know what else to do with it.....will run diagnostics tomorrow on it for 0-60, etc.....cant leave work right now. (yes, even though Im the boss)

Im guessing it auto-detects breathing, exhaust, and anything else....saw no shift points...just programs for max performance..

Also available....towing setting, mpg setting, and a couple of others.

You need to go into the advanced features to see what else is there. I'm sure the WOT shift point stuff is there, but I'd be content to leave it be out of the gate. Also cooling and fan settings. Won't do you much good to have the fan kick on at 180 if your thermostat doesn't open until 195. Then idle control should be there as well.

That's all my little bitty brain can think of right now.

Default Where to get one??

Great write-up, you answered lots of my questions. Looked on-line to order one, but where? I checked Northridge, Summit, Quadratec, even Superchips no one claims to have them. Somebody here on the forum reported they found them for $315. I cannot even find them. Can someone guide me?
