TF 2.5 Coil + Shocks Install
Your going to want wheels off anyway. Makes it way easier to get to everything you need too. Good luck and have fun. Also not sure how old your jeep is but my front shocks, the nut was so rusted on that it just broke the top of shock on both sides. Ge slow and take care that doesn't happen to yours. Unless you have shocks to go in then doesn't matter
I loosened everything when my jeep was on the jacks, but just make sure it's safely up in the air.
Do you have a jack under the front axle? If so, I had mine more towards the center of the front axle, so I could push down on either side I was working on.
I think what I ended up doing (vs. renting spring compressors) was to put the bumpstop in the spring, put the spring on, then put a small piece of wood in the spring, then lift the axle up with a jack (which with the help of the small piece of wood, compressed the bumpstop into the hole). Come to think of it, we used some lubricant on the front bump stops too.
I can't remember if it was the brake lines or the ABS lines that was tough up front. I remember getting the front coils off was easy, getting the new coils on over the extended bump stops was a slight bit tricky.

Is your jack under the front axle towards the center of the axle? (vs. two jacks, each under each side of the axle) That's where we had ours. It's like if you have your jack there and then press down on either side (to get the stock coils out), the axle dips out towards that side and lets up on the other side a bit.

My jack is more towards the side I am working on. Passenger Side. I would guess it is too late to move it, because if I drop it the brake lines will snap.
