3.5 inch lift and flat fenders to run 33 inch tires? I'm speechless. Literally without speech.

Ok I know everyone is telling you to go with a 2.5 and 35"s which is not a bad set up but I would at least run a 3 or a 4" that way you have some flex room for them 35"s and later on if you decided to rear gear and run 37" tires of don't have to change lifts but definitely get sway bar discos before you go to trailfest you'll be more satisfied

2 inch lift, trimmed fenders, proper gears, and 37s- now that will rock

The shock relocation is still a work in process but my main reasons for relocating the brackets are budget and binding. When I ran 35's and flat fenders, I ran stock bump stop and never bottomed out the shocks in the rear, and the fronts would bind too much to allow full compression. Now that I am on 37's, I need to run 2.5" bump stop and I want to recover some of the travel lost. The rear brackets hang too low from the factory so its better to cut the mount off right under the LCA bracket and weld it on as high as possible without bottoming out the shock at full stuff. In the front, I am building brackets similar to these to recover some travel while rotating these mount 90* to eliminate binding issues.
The 90 degrees imo don't reduce bind just saves bushings. Also i hope you raise the upper mount or you will only fit a short shock in the rear.

Does the factory sway bar disco on the rubicon not work as well as aftermarkets? I had the 3 inch BDS on my sahara and loved it, road a little stiff but it seemed solid.

I have been looking at stuff for about a week and was thinking about leaving together one because there doesn't seem to be a "complete kit". I was hoping to keep things about 1000-1200.

Default Rubi

I have a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited. Just put in a 3" BDS lift with Fox shocks. Added 35" Nitto Terra-Grapplers. Haven't had any issues with the sway disconnects.

The factory rubi sway at disco is great if you keep it dry there have been more bad cases with the electric disco seizing up after they have got wet while wheeling but if your just trail riding you'll be fine

If you want to come out cheap you can get a zone 3" lift off eBay for a 4 door and it will give your 2 door 4" of lift or you can get a complete 3.25 lift from rough country for a 4 door and it will also give your 2 door 4" of lift which was the set up that I ran for a good while and the only compliant I had was it was to springy but its cheap and gets the job done

Keep it simple right off the bat if your not familiar with things and need a lift quick that's good and gonna stay 35s then find a good 2.5-3" then as you get familiar you can up bigger of needed and do needed mods of you choose 37s.

I personally do Frankenstein lifts and modify my stuff and I know it was suggested but being your not familiar with stuff do a box lift complete from one of the main guys they are great and will handle 99% of what people want....
you will probably not need more, I'd recommend what I have and a few others but you'r better off based on the Situation getting Terraflex, rock krawler, metal cloak or synergy...
They all have solid stuff it'll cost you more but no learning curve and they work well....
