Sounds like you should have bought a POS old run down CJ with mud tires and just totally rednecked all of DC with mud inside and out with wipers that work inside and out too. Surprised anyone lets their new JK get shitted up like that but if I drove in DC traffic reckon I'd be looking for little things in life that made me happy too...

Have you considered just doing a ships pilot house window? It spins and the rain cannot stick which being glass and spinning (clear) you can see without wipers, not cheap at all though. Then you could take that plastic furniture wrap they used to use in the mid 70's and wrap seats, dash, ...everything....just a thought

I was looking for some help and suggestions for a mod I was insterested in doing to MY Jeep, not for your criticisms. Thanks for showing me what a good community is to be found on this forum. Now excuse me for a minute, I'm feeling the need for more criticisms, I need to go seek out some school kids.

Nobody is criticizing you. While person did in fact laugh; lets me serious, the mere suggestion of a windshield wiper on the inside of any vehicle is humorous, and you should take it as such. Several people have made polite suggestions to better alternatives. To be honest, mechanically, and physically, there is NO WAY you will ever be able to rig a windshield wiper on the inside of your windshield. The other suggested options of a bikini top or using the soft top are your best bet.

You guys are really great, no really I mean that, no matter how stupid the idea, or how hard you may be laughing at someone, you all, mostly, try to be helpful. All in all, a more helpful group of comrades would be hard to imagine.
And I am not going to criticize this scheme, cause I would love to see it. But even those school kids, he is seeking out, must be wetting themselves about now.

But I am sure they laughed at the Wright Brothers also.

It is humorous! It's also a solution to my problem.

So far as it being mechanically and physically impossible... if everyone thought like you we'd probably still be living in caves, hunting with sticks instead of rifles, and not even have our Jeeps.... Not to mention we'd not be able to make smilies in our posts!
