So does that mean even with a change to 3.73 I couldn't tow up to 3500, and with the 3.21 I'm only good for 2000, correct?

My Jeep does have "Trailer Sway Damping" listed, is that the same thing, if not, what is that?

Again, thanks for the info all

Looks like you do have the sway control from the factory. If you go to 3.73 you should be able to tow 3500 pounds. I actually tow up to 4500 pounds. If you go that high, make sure you take all safety precautions - trailer brakes with controller, friction sway control, load leveling hitch, slow speeds.

Thanks again for the info. The only thing I may tow is a couple motorcycles (Harley touring), and between the two of them they're about 1700 loaded & wet, don't have a trailer yet just want to check into stuff before I decide on what type to get, open or enclosed.

i have a stong feeling the auto is not shifting properly. it seems to shift really late. close to 3000rpm with a very light foot and gradual pressure. i would think it should shift closer to 2500rpm, or maybe I'm mistaken? i find myself hitting the auto stick to the right to upshift manually more often than i should

How about breather kits to improve mileage and/or power?

Something similar to these:

Volant 57636 Volant F5 Fast Fit Intake Systems

K&N 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kits - 1850+ Reviews on K&N Air Charger Cold Air Intakes

Would using something like these void the manufacturer's warranty?

35s, superchips tuner, running 93 tune, getting 16mpg city and 19 highway with a 6 speed. That being said, it is apparently known the tuner botches the Mpg readout and what I see is false, I ended up doing my own test, drained the tank, filled it up with 10 gallons of premium, and drove 100 miles according to a gps readout. The Mpg readout was spot on, after doing the math, it ended up being 16.2. To my surprise, im getting better mpg after getting bigger tires? anyone else see this occurrence?

Yes, I have 35's on a 07 2dr, 6 speed, with 4.10s. I was averaging 15-18 stock, now I see 17-23 depending on conditions.

Now with my 2012 auto 2dr i'm getting 13 MPG - WTF?
is it because i need to break in my engine?
other thoughts?
still running the same 35''s and lift
With my 13 with 35's I get 14-15.5 my bro the same. Its hard to ask guys about mpg its like asking them there 8====D size. Everyone is suddenly a 10"er and must of us guys get 16-17 stock then we put on bumpers and lifts and all the sudden we have a prius that gets 20-21 mpg. I just ignore what everyone else is getting unless mine suddenly goes to shit

If you go to K&N web site, that have a statement about how a manufacturer can't void the warranty.
