If your worried about voiding the warranty you should not be moding your Jeep in the First place. My jeep has 2500 miles on it and I'v pretty much have written off the warranty. I'v done too much to it to expect warranty work for free.

But If I find a Mod friendly dealer that will do the work I'll take it

I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth if you know what I mean

I'm not, I haven't found that pot of gold so many of you guys seem to have. With my present situation I can't afford to void the warranty. I've done a lot of small things that don't really matter much as far as off roading or warranty goes. I only asked because I went through this years ago with a Harley, The Motor Company was real big on using only Harley parts or else. I was in a better situation then.

The MOCO is full of crap. I've been using non HD parts for years and never had a warranty issue unless its directly related to the failure. Filters, oil, exhaust, none of these will affect a warranty.

I read it and K&N will actually fix your engine if the filter was properly installed and maintained and was found to be the cause of the failure....

So ha.... I knew it was covered somewhere.

I'm not promoting my CAI, just stating what I had.
I've had K&N filters before. This test makes them seem like they aren't worth it. I know CAI aren't worth it either, but it does give the Jeep some growl. Not just the one I have, I don't want to name drop, all of them.
Here's the link about the K&N.K&N Air Filter Review - Debunking the Myths (and why OEM is better)

lol, assuming your jeep has no off-road use, as the warranty states in the second sentence.

I have never seen modding for fuel economy "break even", regardless of mileage.

IMO if your getting 13mpg from a 2013, something is likely wrong. I would get that sorted prior to adding more pieces to the puzzle.

I read and commented on that the first time it was posted.

I can't afford any mods right now anyway so the point is moot.

Maybe, but 10 years ago that was the contention of more than just HD mechanics.

Actually my friend owns a dealer and if you use anything but manufacturers oils its instant warranty voided. Personally seen it in suzuki kawasaki and HD

I have a friend who had a motor issue with His HD fat boy. According to him, they analyzed the oil and declined warranty coverage when they discovered it was Mobil 1. Only thing I ever heard of.
