I've been having real pain waiting for a break in the weather - the snow is calling to me.
Anyway I'm heading up on Saturday to, you know, check things out.
My plans are to leave from Sly Park and see how far up I can get. Any one interested in joining me?

 

Jeeperdude, if I had my jeep back from L.A. I would join you. I'm out for at least another week. SUCKS! Check it out and let me know. I think Iron Mtn Rd is the way to go Jeff. You can't get to screwed up its one way in and one way out if you can't make it threw North South Rd. Friggin deep snow and lots of crazys to watch. Hell last year I was passed by a 4x4 ambulance up there getting to a guy that was on a snowboard being towed by a snow mobile. Friggin People! Nuts.....

 

I wasn't thinking of going all the way through to Iron mountain on the north south road from Pipi camp ground. Snow is more than likley too deep at Caldor. you might not make it up to the north south road from Iron Mountain, but hey what's an adventure for. Go for it jeeperdude. post up on snow levels.

I was stuck on that chair for 40 min last week. Kirkwood lost power. But the snow was bitchen!!

 

I HATE when that happen. especially I m afraid of height...

The weekend of the 27th-28th works for us. The rest of the month is shot, so whoever threw out this date .... YOU ROCK !!!

 

I kinda feel bad because Todd, who actually started this thread, was all good for that date too until two posts ago
