Dealer fixed my soft top leak....
well, did the fix and the passenger side still leaked. but not as bad without the washer fix. so readjusted my striker in just a bit. had a lot of rain since. no more leak. finally a dry JK. the door handle leak is so common you would think they would have fixed this for 09.
Well, it rained last night, and sadly, the washer fix didn't work. I still had leaks inside, although it did seem like it wasn't quite as much as usual - on both the driver and passenger sides. However, I do notice that the foam weatherproof around the edge of the header area is basically flattened; will try the weatherstripping fix next and see if that works. Where exactly did you adjust the striker at? Any pics? Open to suggestions
A long time ago, someone put a fix using silly putty. I tried this. I used silly putty and put electric tape where door surround meets that the gasket. This fix works for me for the fix of the leak over the door handles.
oddly my drivers side never leaked a drop. on the passenger side i adjusted the striker on the pillar. the silver one. two torx bolts. i never touched the hinges. just got some tape to outline the origional position of the striker. then, thru trial and error moved it in a small amount at a time, till the leak totally stopped. if you go to far in, the door will be very hard to close. very stubborn leak! only would leak when sitting and raining.
on a side note, found the fore mentioned silly putty fix.

Are the tolerances that different on each Jeep? Seems like bad engineering at its best.
