Pretty much. Didn't think it through and now feel like a boob for having to ask a simple fix.

The current issue was the rcvs were shipped with the orange boots on them, not I cant remove them to clear the Reid knuckles.

Tried heating up the shaft and pulling it off the spline end but no luck, just melted the end boot a bit.

Put it in the oven with like 150* or something and it should make it ply able but not melt it. Stay away from actual fire bc you'll just melt it.

Not sure the long shaft would fit, or the wife liking the idea! I tired heating the shaft with flame and moving it up to the heated areas, no luck and the boot got a small flame on it but easily cleaned up.

I might try it.

Borrow her hair dryer that should get it warm enough and not catch it on fire. Btw thank you for your service.

Just slapped a d44 from the four wheel magazine build they did.
I considered the outer tubes etc but nitro makes a sleeve to handle the rcv 35 spline axles and it was built ready to go....
Total confidence....

RCV shafts showed up with boots on and couldn't come off. Talked to northridge and rcv and the only plan was to hit both sides to get them off.

Test fit done and marks made.

Cut and grind tomorrow. Popping the ball joints out also. Then well weld it all up.
