The quick discos work much smoother if you flip the bolt with the knob around to the front of the vehicle. If mounted normally, there's very little clearance between the knob and the 1st rack bar, or the quick disco plates. Doesn't seem to make a difference in your ability to sock it down but definitely makes it easier to operate.

Anyway, I got some use out of my rack over labor day weekend. it was pretty tame so i dont have any awesome action shots, but at least it is outside, and i havent seen too many pics of the 2 door rack, so y'all can check it out here:





the rack is super sturdy and ive gotten quite a few compliments on its appearance.

Will the manufacture be at the Offroad Expo in Pomona in October? I really like this system but I want to see one up close.

 

Not sure. However, I will be at the Rocktober, the end of the Oct.

Sorry for the long delay - Gobi rack is on! It is awesome. Absolute quality product. I'm going to work up some pics and install notes as soon as I catch some time in the garage.
