Alpha Expedition: Gobi Roof Rack.
Banessi, I see you've got a hard top, but have you tried to tilt your rack back with those RR taillight guards?
As a heads up, I almost ripped my taillight off today. I put my quick disconnects on so I can put my soft top down and the bolt that attaches the ladder to the driverside vertical bar is catching on the top of the driverside taillight guard. I was able to minimize the problem by flipping the bolt head around to the other side, but still need to come up with a better fix, maybe a flatheaded bolt.
OFF TO LOWES.

@ CEDO, thanks for the heads up! I haven't tilted it back but I plan on doing it this weekend to install the quick disconnects that Gobi finally shipped. Again, thanks for the heads up and I'll be wary of that when I do tilt it back. I had already noticed that the stabilizer knobs on the side would hit.

Speaking of getting worse mileage, I'm thinking about getting a lift and wanted to know if you've determined that the 2.5 lift will enable you to get 35s under your Jeep. I had heard you had to get at least a 3" lift. I'm in now hurry to get 35s and may even stick with the 32s since it is my daily driver but that doesn't mean I won't change my mind.
