I'm planning on getting a Gobi on Monday morning...if I do I may be able to help you figure this out.

 

I picked mine up this morning and went straight to work installing it!




I also have a 40" Rigid lightbar to go in, but I don't have my switch situation sorted yet, so I'm holding off for now.

 

Does the Gobi work with the orfab carrier? Anyone?

 

I once a read a thread elsewhere about this...apparently the OP contacted EAD and they had a Jeep with that set-up and said it works. I would contact EAD; I'm just passing along what I've heard.

Love the rack...really came in handy this weekend.

 

Anyone else have issues with their Gobi wind screen vibrating when they get around 70 mph? If so what did you do to fix it?

No issues with vibrations. I would check fitment. I do remember it was very hard to install. I actually just removed mine because now I have a Maggiolina Airtop RTT and I was still getting a lot of wind noise. Removing it helped but removing the bug and rock guards from my IPF lights on the front of my Gobi helped the most with noise.

 

Awesome looking jeep! How do you like the rack with the soft top? Does it make noise or flap? I want one, but the Missus already complains enough about the noise (I have a soft top and soft uppers).
