Kicker Factory Replacement Overhead Sound Bar Speaker Kit
I'll let you know on Thursday when they get here.....but it does appear that crossbones has already done this.
I was just saying how the site read...and it says they won't fit.....then again 15" Cragars won't fit, either. LMAO. I am very interested to know about both yalls speaker installs.
I bought the kickers DS600 6.5IN from Cructhfield and the came with the Plug Harness and the mounting Brackets FREE.. plus free Shipping...
That's a pretty good deal if you compare Quadratec... although not sure if they are the same MODEL of speakers.. but they sure do look alike.

i don't care if they are a sponsor or not. being a sponsor here isn't a license to charge outrageous prices.
crutchfield has great customer service too, even though they don't post here.
Oh good lord.
If you think they are to expensive, dont buy them. (I think they are WAY to expensive, so i wont be)
There isn't anything wrong with buying from a cheaper source. We do of course endorse our sponsors as much as possible because they help pay the bills, but if they are that far out of the ballpark, then speaking with your dollar is the best voice we have.
Did anyone bother to call them and let them know how far out in left field they are on their pricing for this?!??? ~ I'd venture to guess: probably not.
I have delt with Crutchfield for years and have no problems giving them a call about getting new ones for mine (If & when i get around to it), but i would START by calling the sponsoring vendors and making them aware i did find the same thing elsewhere, substantially cheaper. Maybe they will bend. Heck, maybe not, but that's what I'd do.

Ayup, as have I in similar situations
I know Q-tec is responding here, and no offense intended towards them in any way, but how far up the ladder is that really going?
It seems they are trying, but a bunch of customers on the phone, with $ in their hands, is a lot different than a few people (me included) sitting around whining on an internet forum.
