You lose some structural integrity with recessing your winch.

We hit 90s this week and no issues on highway commute.
Much cleaner look with a lot more protection for the winch. Improved air flow to radiator/trans cooler (if you have one). Not everyone wants to show off their 1400$ warn, your winch and line is more exposed to sun damage and will fade.

I use a $350 runvA winch. The only thing I'm showing off is my thriftiness. And I use a neoprene cover...

It was not aimed at you personally. I don't want to pay 1k for a winch either when one that 350-650 will do the job and last as long.

We do have a couple more variations coming out soon, including a version with a Trail Stinger, and a version with a Trail Stinger and Grille Hoop. We've built our first prototype of the version with Trail Stinger and Grille Hoop, I've included a photo of it below. We're going to make a couple of small adjustments to it before it goes into production though, specifically narrowing-up the stinger at the bottom, where it attaches to the bumper, it will attach at the same points as the current Brawler Bar. The version without the Grille Hoop will have some plate steel gussets, similar to what we have with the Brawler Bar but probably come a little higher up the tube. We will post up photos of the second article or production version when its ready.

Is this bumper with the grille hoop available yet?

There didn't seem to be much demand, so it was tabled for a while. If there is enough intrest it can be brought back to the top of the list.
Thanks,

Our first shots of a Brawler Lite with Trail Stinger finished and mounted up. This one's on the Spike's Tactical JK, which is just about finished and we'll have more photos of it soon.

What color is that? Is that gecko? Looks darker, that's why I ask...

Yeah its Gecko but that image has been Kah-ified with some HDR effects. Here's one that shows the color a little more true-to-form:
