Poison Spyder Hood Louvers--Now for JK!
Recently added the PSC Hood Louvers and glad I did! A friend suggested that I shoot the hood with some flat black paint because you can see the body color through the louvers while you are driving. I think that was a great idea DesertJeep!
Since I don't have a gauge in the engine compartment that measures the heat I can't say what the improvements are to reduced heat but after doing our Rubicon Trail run recently and all the elevations climbs I can say engine temps did appear to be lower than in the past. And I love how the body color worked out.

There are claims that it helps defrost the windshield a little quicker.....it's also possible (and quite likely) that it would decrease hood flutter as well.

I installed mine last Thursday and went on a couple long drives and it seems like the hood flutter has completely disappeared with nothing keeping the air inside the hood stays nice and snug to the body, it will be a few months till I can comment about it defrosting the windshield faster, I hope anyways.
Lower under-hood temperatures
Reduce hood flutter
Make your Jeep look better
Improve your off-road driving
Get you laid
Of course, some of these are based on anecdotal testimony. Your mileage may vary.
great products put mine on this weekend however when I opened the package the provided template was for the TJ/LJ so with a marker and straight edge in hand I made my own template. I recieved a phone call from Poison Spyder today offering to mail me a correct template. I love your products guys as you can tell by my jeep but this is the second time i have recieved partial or incorrect parts/instructions (1st time was with the brawler lite bumper missing attachement hardware) with your packaged products. Im not writing this to bash or degrade the name of your company only as an awareness that there might be some quality control issues in the packaging department.
