Please don't make it a one size fits all for the 2-door and Unlimited. I also like the heated and cooled cup holders. Maybe you should add a multi-choice poll when you have some different ideas.

I'd be ready to buy this tomorrow if you could make it happen.

The suggestions above about being able to stay open past 90 degrees and a knockout on the inside to run the ipod wire.

 

Include a place to install a CB radio..

Drink faster, or get some ice. I don't know of a reasonable way to keep it cool, keeping it warm isn't hard though.

I'm not sure what else I can add to this thread though, as I don't think I want the whole console, just the insert.

 

1. higher/padded armrest
2. cupholders with larger capacity
3. mounting options for CB or CD player/radio
4. storage with compartments or dividers (change, food, tools, ammo, etc)

5. secure and tough (obviously)
6. black is fine with me, but matching to khaki interior would be a bonus
7. switch panel option (I dont have pwr. windows, but being able to put switches for other things would be cool)

8. OD button and shifter(s) must be there as well as provisions for upgraded transfer case levers (think Atlas or other 2 or 3 stick cases)

9. options for mounting/wiring power outlets would be another bonus but not required.

I think thats my hotlist....thank you for asking for input...keep us posted of prototypes, pictures, release dates, pricing, etc...etc...

 

Color match powder for the console + OE match fabric for the armrest.... that even applies to the current product.

 

there is some car out there (don't remember which one) that comes from the factory with cup holders that heat and cool. i've seen them on the commercial. just can't remember what it was.
