What would you like in a snorkel design?
Rugged Ridge has answered every posed question except release date and price. I would have to assume it's deliberate, because they've been asked several times.
Either it's not determined or they don't want to release that information yet...
The product looks awesome though and I'll be getting one.

I am assuming that normal everyday driving power (HP and Torque) are not reduced with running the "low" snorkel. I mean, this isnt something im going to want to take on and off depending on what Im doing, right? How much higher does the "low" intake sit then stock? Thanks. I really like what Im seeing.
Installation is straight forward with about 17 bolts to remove, unplug the antenna to remove the fender. Really not that hard. As for the cutting, it's a lot less than other snorkels...
Extending the lines at this time would be a good idea. I have explained earlier in the thread why we are not attaching it to the snorkel. With the fender off it just gives you a hiding place to route the tubes up to the cowl area if desired.
As for a video, yes we will be putting one together for this and most of all our future products.
Now for the other comments......
.. getting to the point that I just have to stop commenting. You guys are getting me down. Not sure what people expected
.
Not sure how you guys thought this thing would magically get installed on the vehicle? .... Deep breath, OK... I understand that some will not feel comfortable doing the installation but for most of you guys it really is not that bad. We have tried to make it as easy as possible.
I will have to let another company make the 3M stick on version...
Well we could just take the plastic cowl armor we make... extend it a bit to match the tall ram intake and make a very easy to install a fake stick on version. All the look with no real work.

I like having another option on snorkels. I will be buying this when it comes out. Looks simple to install. Guess some people want a snorkel but no cutting involved but that wont happen if it did it would be pretty aweful looking. Keep us up to date.
