Keep it sleek and maybe not so plain! add some type of Custom accents, we are driving the priciest wranglers out there!

I hope this is available soon, I have been holding on my AEV purchase for the Rugged Ridge version. I am looking for something that has less exposed plastic as the others currently available. Love the idea that it could look similar to the stock one on the H1.

My suggestion... even though I am a noob at this

We have a guy in our jeep club here in Florida that developed his own snorkel that did not require much drilling or cutting at all... he moved the intake into the firewall (i think it was) via a large enough hole for a K&N jk filter.... sealed it off and now its inside the jeep behind the radio.... all he has to do is remove the face of the radio and change the filter...

Oddly enough it makes sense to take in some air from the car since the car has fresh air, as well as no water hopefully... anyway I have no idea if this can be done but he did it in 4 days (and did it to another jeep in 4 hours after his) and it cost the price of a K&N cold air intake and some intake tubing.... total about 200 bucks

I'm to lazy this late to read all 14 pages. But my suggestion would be something similar to a Volant system, meaning CAI with snorkel add on.
My reasoning for that is doesn't a CAI with out snorkel work better than having snorkel engaged?
But more importantly it can't be hideous like volants. That alone keep me WAY away from that. Lol anyway clean, blends well without running across the hood.
My .02 of course, then again what ever you come up with will be awesome.

Well, the SEMA booth and displays are on their way out to the show. I hope to now be able to spend some much needed time back on the project. Status is the same as before.

Because we want be showing a prototype at SEMA i guess I need to post teaser shots as we go along.

Thanks to all that have responded. I know that it sounds like we might have slowed down but this is just what happens in the development of a product. I wish it went faster sometimes.

I will not cut my hood, everything else is fair game. I would buy AEV hood before cutting mine.

Make it truly functional with a one way drain in the bottom to let any water buildup out.

SEAL IT GOOD

Make it look nice and function with any fender, and lightbar combination.

Outerwears prefilter to help keep mud out when playing like goofballs in the water.
