Any updates for us Rugged Ridge?
Working on it ... Printing prototypes now.... Takes a little time for them to be put together. Will try to have some more shots later next week.

We are keeping all the input and trying to validate as much as possible at this point of development.

Also have some other new projects that will be pretty cool for next year... Think cool new bumpers for the JK ...

I don't know about the rest of you guys.. I'm getting a little ancy... Are we going to be able to pre-order soon? I'd like to hurry up and buy it so I can feel comfort in knowing it's on it's way as soon as it's ready to go out the door.

And... pics please!! If you guys have some prototypes going, give us a sneak peak of the real thing =)

Ancy here too, but patient. I'd rather RR take however long it takes to do it right. I think this one will be worth waiting for, but not if it has problems because they rushed it out the door.

I'd be down for a pre order if that helps with production. I'm interested in the low profile design, or MAYBE a mid height design. I think of this as more of a fix, or insurance, against poorly designed oem air box.

there is an active thread on people hydrolocking in very small amounts of water because of splashing created by spinning tires. it's worth 300 bucks or so to protect against that, IMO.

ummm wow i am excited to see what you guys come up with!!!!

i would like to see a snorkle that uses a brand new air box.. not the factory one. a complete intake and air box change.. i understand this could drive up the cost but it would be nice to have the option.

maybe an option to buy the snorkle colored , white, jeep green, black, excetera..

so far my favorite desighn is AEV's

but this could be improved on.

I love the look of the drawing, can't wait to see the finished product! As for my wishes... Cleaner integration with the body which it looks like you are doing. Some snorkels look rather bulky, but without knowing the basis for their individual design, I can't knock them. I'd rather sacrifice in looks if it gains in performance... to an extent.

Do you have a pic or CAD of this snorkel on hand for viewing?? I'd love to see what you're working on, the concept and how far along you've come with it thus far.

holy s#!t... This is awesome.... I've been browsing this thread for a while, never commenting because I really didn't know what I'd want in a snorkel. I never really liked the looks for the most part. But this design is sweeeeet.

I like the shorter one, and thats all I'd really need. But it appears to be a modular... switchable, like the RR XHD front bumper, NICE!

I guess I'd better hold off on buying an intake....
