Depends on conditions, flash flood, washes can be hazardous even if there isn't a cloud in the sky, water can travel a long way in a hurry. But still, if your following someone having a higher intake means less dust clogging your air filter.

Lesson (1) Flash Floods are very, Very bad out west (come to think of it in any part of the world). Do Not Let This Happen To You.
Lesson (2) Even if the water looks shallow it will carry you away... Snorkel or not! Fast water is fast water .... !!!!

This was the best example I could find quick and yes I know it's Alaska but the point still holds true.

Well, yes, any water crossing can be hazardous. A snorkel Might give a person the extra seconds needed to get to safety. Unless they are fool enough to tempt Lady Luck.

I want to see some under-the-hood pics. I intend to do a dual-battery set-up, and I would like to see how the air pipe is routed. Earlier someone wrote about an inline filter rather than the factory air box, makes for some performance benefits, and a place under the hood for an air compressor. So is that a possibility?

i have been following this thread from day one and they havent given us an idea on whats going to happen under the hood. but from what i have gotten out of it is the dual battery will work and the idea of getting rid of the stock air box has been mentioned or thought about and thats all theyve said. i know alof of people including myself would love to see the stock air box gone but i think thats going to be a bit pricey but either way im still game for getting one as soon as its out. id love to see whats under the hood. it feels like christmas on this project.

Factory lower box will be gone / replaced with new sealed box... Factory top reused... As of today.... Things could change as we move along.
