What would you like in a snorkel design?
Based on another thread RR is posting to, it sounds like he bought a new 2012 which is having problems that the dealer is working to fix. It sounds like the 2012 model has a change that is causing problems with the way the intake is routed, but he doesn't have the jeep on hand to figure out how to fix the problem.

I know it's ruff to wait, but I myself would rather they take their time and get it right, then rush a pice of cr*p to the stores. Am I right because if they do everyone will be all over them for it!
You guys have to remember that they arent all working only on this one product. They still have other products in development and getting ready for shows. I doubt they have 50 people working on R&D alone. And from what i've seen this product isnt going to be simple to design properly, modular things rarely are. If they were going for as straight and easy a path as possible without trying to have a system that appeals to as many people as possible, im sure itd be out already.
Sorry guys... still here and just got a plate full of stuff to be getting done before SEMA... This includes ripping apart my new 2012 Rubicon to confirm fitment of most if not all of our current products... I am sorry that I have not been posting up as much as I have in the past. I had to hand the forum responsibility over to one of our Tech guys... Sooooo I just have not been around.
Snorkel is still going along and will be ready soon. We had some really big molded parts that have required fine tuning to get production ready. I have some under hood images I will post up tomorrow to let you guys know how it is mounted. I will also be pulling my 2012 apart to see what will need to be changed for the new model. Looks like most if not all of the expensive tooling will be reused and I will just need to work around the new exhaust for the 3.6L Penastar.
