Just turned over 12K miles on my 2 dr 35's and 4:88 gears. no problems so far. I have had the "chime" come on when doing some Moab wheel'n. I lock out the OD on hills just to save it from shifting up and down.

Me too. What makes it funny is that she prefers auto, so we got that so she would feel comfortable with it. Now that I have the lift on it and she has to hop/climb into it, she doesn't drive it as much anyhow!

Shoulda just bought the 6spd.

I have gotten the auto-tranny overheat "ding" a few times on trail runs, but so far no actual issues with the tranny....

Look at the poll results. 25/150 is still an alarming number of tranny problems .
