I have the same noise and my dealer replaced the throwout berring as per the technical service bullitin. A few days later it started again and i took it back and the service tech stated that itsnot the same noise and since there are no tsb's on it he could not repair it. I then took it to what I feel is the crappiest dealer in New Jersey(its close by) and the stated that since a dealer has already worked on this problem he could not work on it. Wait I thought it wasnt the same problem. Next stop LEMON LAW. Thanks shitty jeep dealerships.

maybe the chirp is coming from the tires. this new engine is so powerful that all of you are powershifting and hearing the tires chirp and just aren't used to it.

While driving today I had a friend stick their head out the window and I made the chirp sound.. he confirmed it's coming from near the rear tire somewhere....driveshaft?

I already told you where it is coming from....

The driveshaft was taken off, inspected, lubed, reinstalled and the noise was still there.

The rear end was disassembled, inspected, reassabled, tested...The noise was still there.

The rear suspension was replaced, the noise was still there.

The vehicle was driven without shocks. The noise was still there.

The clutch disc, flywheel, pressure plate, throwout bearing were replaced, the noise was eliminated. The vehicle was driven all morning after replacement with no noises.

I've had the vehicle back and have driven it 4 times, with no noises.

There were signs of scoring on the clutch disc, which is evedince that it was something not right in the clutch area. The engineers confirmed this and chrysler sent all required parts.

I will follow up from time to time and let you all know if anything further comes down from this.

What is the worst that can happen? They buy my vehicle back from 4 attempts to fix or 30 days in the shop if it comes back. For now, it's fixed and I am happy.

What Mr. Big said.
The fix is clutch/Pressure plate/t.o. bearing

Why isn't there a TSB on this??? This seems to be a very common problem.

I would like to add my 07 Rubi to the list. This morning, the wife and I were on our way to wallyworld, and when upshifting, releasing the clutch we heard a chirp in every upshift. The Rubi just turned 1100 miles. First time I've heard it.

It sounds exactly like "gym shoes on a basketball court". It seems to be right after you shift and start to accelerate. It seems to come and go at times.
