I almost want to wait and see what TSB says...i don't want them to just use the same defective part again if it is the clutch....

It's not..i thought that was the problem and when I did the fix I tried it and it seemed better.. it's back or it never went away one of the two...it sounds more mechanical than just a hose rubbing.. its loud!... sounds like slack in the drivetrain...

Please refresh me on exactly what work was done on yours to get rid of the chirp.
Mine is going in next week, and I want to have as much ammo as possible.

Thanks.

Thumbs up To fix chirp:

Clutch + Pressure Plate + Through-Out Bearing
From following this since Dec when I got my JK & the chirp I am sure it is caused by a faulty or poorly installed Pressure Plate.but you should always replace all three. the parts are cheap compared to the labor.

Replacing the trans mount did nothing to cure the chirp. Tell your dealer to use chassie ears to localize the chirp at the front of the bell housing.

Do you know if there is any kind of an "official" write-up on this fix?
