Thanks, but it is not specifically stating that there is a recall and whether it is manual or auto, etc. Wish we had better info - not feeling too godd about my 2010 Sahara purchase 2 months ago.

Well, your question is not specific, either. Do you have a 6 speed, or automatic?
Makes a big difference in which direction to point you.

I did not make my question specific as I am trying to help a few friends who have manual and a few that have auto. Personally, I have an automatic, but any information would be helpful. Thanks.

Even then, it's only free if you still have a warranty that covers what was done.

I posted because some people are under the wrong impression TSB should be free, and complied with on request. I just wanted to clear that up.
I have warranty... 3000miles...3 months old

i had the same exact problem that started with 400 miles on my '10 sport. Took two times to go to the dealer before I went off on em and they finally gave and put a new tranny in. Dropped it off yesterday morning and got it back after I got out of work. Odometer only has 1326 miles on it and Ive only made one payment. lets hope this tranny lasts. I had a vw before the jeep and I must say german components are not built like they used to be

Would be great if someone had a reference # for a TSB or recall.
I couldn't get dealer to admit there was a problem.
Still pops out of 1st now and then.
Can anyone get there hands on some reference document or reference # to tell dealer when we bring it in to get fixed?

Honestly...

if it does it now and then... dont worry about it.... it will take ages for it to get fixed.... its been since... FEB 11th that my jeeps been in the shop..

and they have no ETA! when it will be ready.

so id enjoi it popping out of gear.

mine was SLAMMING OUT. and making a awful slamming noise unless clutch was pushed in at idle.
and..
it would whistle/over spin a bearing sound... under load while switching gears

spoke to my dealer today as i have a 2010 rubi 6 sp on order, dealer has had no transmission problems with any 2010 units he has sold yet and not aware of any issues but is going to look into it for me. also he just took delivery of a 6 sp the other day and is going to run the serial number and also see if he can order a transmission for a 2010 6sp and what delivery is scheduled to be. he is a small dealer and real easy to work with, will keep you posted.
