So, just to clarify since I am reading this on my phone, this issue pertains to the manual 6 speed and not the auto 4 speed?

Sorry to hear that, I have a 10 JK with a automatic, and my wife has a 07. The 07 has had issues with gas spitting out of the fuel neck during fill up, to leaks all over the soft top. Hearing these issues are dissapointing for such a fun vehicle.

My build date is 09/09.....so are you saying mine has the problem? Is that considered a really early built 2010....or will mine have the 09' parts in it? I know Chrysler is really famous for using up old parts in the new models, as I have owned a few rams, and one was a half year model...it had some 98' and 99' parts.......

As of now there is no official recall. This one yahoo is spouting off as if he knows there is, but has not posted anything but hearsay. So far this is nothing more than the "popping out of first" issue that everyone is more than aware of. Not that it isn't a serious issue, but if you don't have a problem don't sweat it. If you do, take it in for a warranty repair. The sky is not falling. I repeat, the sky is not falling.

if you read my post... popping out of gear is not the biggest concern

THE TRANSMISSION MAKING A HORRID KNOCKING NOISE is the bad part..

sounding like you got 500 marbles slamming around inside your transmission...

Thats what im saying..

it wasnt from wheelin either.... i started my jeep and it made the noise.

since then it was fucked

Hmmm. 2010 JK Sport here, I have about 2k miles on it now, have not had any issues whatsoever yet. No odd noises, no popping out of gear, etc.
