The first gear assist start is goofy wish that wasnt there. Other than that when I start not on a hill I start in second. My 10 is fun to drive enjoy every minute.

Wife made me get the auto, I would have got the stick, I bet I would have ended up with a rubi to start rather than my sahara, sahara was in stock in auto with everything I wanted. I would have ordered stick and then ordered rubicon. Its ok. I love my jeep no matter what badge it has

When I was in the market to buy my jeep all I could fine were automatics.
I searched five states before I found my 6-speed. I don't mind auto's but if I
get to choose I always would pick manual.

Maybe I'm missing something here. I've driven manuals all my live. Been off road with every one of them (not rocking, just off road). No doubt I prefer the manual but hate the 3.21's in my Sahara coupled with the V-6. I think its a fair combination but no where near the old TJ combinations. Those with Rubi's may have found a better set up with their 4.10's but i still think the Sahara is geared to high even in low, low in some situations. It certainly does not have the low end torque it used to have. I've considered auto next time but I'm not sure that will be any better.
