Custom modular JK hardtop
I haven't tried them in the 2dr so I have no idea if or how they might fit. If you tell me what dimensions you need I can measure them, I've got a bunch here.
Hey, I've been following your work for awhile on the forum, awesome ingenuity! Before you said you couldn't name who was making the 4 door sliders but not sure if you have mentioned who will be manifacturimg them as I couldn't find it or is it still under wraps?
.The name of the company can be found on the first page of the instruction thumbnails I posted this morning
.They tell me the slider kits will be going on sale very soon; they are in production now. Also they tell me they're keeping a list of people who want to be notified as soon as they go on sale so you could contact them if you want to be on their list.
The scratches in the glass, on the inside, are visible, and you can feel them with a fingernail. Reflections in the glass don't allow a pix. Dogs !
The fore and aft length for me, 2 dr , rear seat removed, is 13" for the Ammo Box Carrier.

The production JKU inner fender mount base is about 16" wide:

The angle of the photo above doesn't make it look this way, but the tray itself is narrower than the mount, it's about 13" wide.

The reason for the difference between the base width and the tray width is to maximize the Molle grid size - since the seat slopes back and the Molle grid is closer to the floor than the tray the base can be wider than the tray to maximize the grid.
Can you do a photo of the area in the 2dr showing the space available?
BTW I made the prototype bases narrower (about 13") so depending on how much space there is this size might fit better. For comparison, the production base goes all the way to the right edge of the tray, and goes beyond the left edge of the tray by about 3" as in the photo of the prototype below (it bolts together opposite when installed on the driver's side).
The shorter fore and aft one, at 13", is just right; the width, left to right, can be the longer dimension. I have a Dirty Dog Cargo Liner ( very nice too ) and I keep stuff in that well behind the seats. Plus, if you want the seat all the way back, a little clearance is good.
I'll take a pix tomorrow, with tape measure, so its clear.
Thank you !

Yes, it could be run as shown in the photo below. The back is being supported by the brackets to the roll bars. These brackets support the rear of the roof rack, but also can serve to support the roof without the vertical supports or rear panel in place.

The JK version of the Safari Cab has similar roof rack support brackets in the rear, so it could be run the same way.
I don't run the tops this way and if I were to do it I'd probably make a minor change in the brackets to improve the side-to-side rigidity because as they are now they are mostly for vertical support, but that would be an easy change to the brackets.

Here's a pix of where the side carrier would go in the 2dr . Because I have a Cargo Liner, and use the well behind the front seats ( Rear Seat has been removed from mine), my space requirements are atypical.Attachment 670771
But - the mount has feet that sit on the floor, so I was wondering how much floor is under where the mount would be and how much of the mount would be over the seat well. The feet can be extended so if they need to reach down into the seat well that'll work, but would help to know how deep they'd have to go.
