Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
My build is just starting and I figure I will spend the summer dialing it in. I'm only looking at most 2-3 days out at a time. So each trip I'm getting new and better ways to set up, build or do things. This thread has also given me so much info it's almost impossible to absorb it all.
Can someone tell me the name of that expedition documentary on Netflix. I meant to write it down but now it can't find it again.

After looking through this thread over the last couple of nights, I now know what direction I want my 2010 4 door to go!! What are the thoughts on the best wheel, tire and lift to go with? I'm thinking 33s on 17s and AT tires for sure. What tires you guys thinking? And last question is are the duratrac tires mor a A/T or mud?

Just returned from a trip out to the southwest. Included several off-road segments with a friend of mine from Washington state. Here are a few pic's. More on my public FB album at ...

At El Malpais National Monument ...

Mt Trumbull Road--61 miles to Toroweap on the north rim of Grand Canyon National Park ...

Some seriously bad weather chasing us as we continue into the park ...

The view from our campsite. That's a 3,000 foot drop straight down to the Colorado River ...

See?

Sunrise the next morning by our campsite ...

Breakfast on the Grand Canyon north rim. It doesn't get any better ...

Schnebly Hill Road into Sedona, AZ ...

Soldier's Pass in Sedona, AZ; a short, but difficult-rated trail ...

More of Soldier's Pass ...

Backway up Mt. Lemmon (near Tucson) ...

"Uh, Ray, are you certain we didn't miss a turn somewhere?"

Just kidding. A part of our trip included a photographic caravan safari into the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (in their truck, not our Jeeps).
It was a great trip, and included many other locales, though I've highlighted the off-road stuff here. Please feel free to browse the FB album at the link above.

I guess that's the dilemma! 33s make sense but the inch more or so of ground clearance with 35s might be useful! Ill probably go to any off-road park maybe twice a year and that's a fat maybe but I do more traveling when I can when I have the chance! Just wanna make sure I'm ready whenever the situation calls for it!
