It is the new one from Rugged Ridge. It has both the high and low mount. I don't have any low mount pics yet.

It's a military M416A1 trailer I modified (extended the tongue and added box with batteries and solar charging system, new axle with pattern for matching AEV wheels, shackle lift, coil-overs, electric brakes, a water tank, refrigerator, custom lid and several other mods). If you ever see one for sale, pick it up! These old trailers are a ton of fun and take old CJ parts.

Here's a few from awhile back. I've since added ACE rock sliders (which have proven very useful for accessing rack top) and a few other goodies.

LOVE your set up and matching trailer! What size lift/tires are you running?

Those trailers are increasingly rare. Strange, given how versatile they are.

The JK has 35"s and 3.5 in. spring lift, the trailer has 35"s and 1.5 in shackle lift. In both cases, the 35s measure closer to 34". Nevertheless, I had to raise and widen the stock trailer fenders to get them to fit right.

Original ones don't come easy, especially the newer ones out of Canada, but worth the search. Keep an eye on Craigslist, neighbors yards, and Govt surplus sites. There are a few aftermarket companies that make new copies ( e.g. Sierra 4x4) but they charge a lot and make you wait for them. There are plenty of build threads and advice on expedition portal once you bag one.

Sweet setup man! How do you keep the kayak secure up there?
